Specific Objective: To enhance the quality and relevance of vocational training by conducting a labor market needs assessment in the HoReCa sector, aligning vocational training with labor market demands, modernizing training programs, and fostering international collaboration with French organizations.
Within the project, NGO “CULT FOOD” works to strengthen vocational education in Chernihiv Region as part of the broader regional recovery process. The project includes an assessment of regional labor market needs, advanced training for teachers under short-term and long-term training programs, and preparation of teachers to implement modern teaching methodologies. A separate component of the project is an experience exchange with French institutions.
The project focuses on practice-oriented training of specialists for the HoReCa sector, which can become an important area for economic recovery, employment and the development of local communities.
A separate component of the project is a media campaign aimed at increasing the visibility of vocational education and its role in the recovery of Chernihiv Region.
Analytical information on regional labor market needs, particularly in the HoReCa sector, will be prepared within the project.
Two new short-term training programs will be developed and piloted.
Previously developed short-term training programs for three specialties will be implemented.
Previously developed long-term training programs for three specialties will be implemented.
A second-level cascade training model will be introduced for teachers of vocational education institutions in Chernihiv Region under two short-term programs, “Waiter” and “Pastry Fundamentals”, and three long-term programs, “Chef”, “Pastry Chef” and “School Chef”. This will ensure the transfer of acquired competencies to a broader group of vocational teachers across the region.
A media campaign with an expected reach of at least 1,000,000 individuals is planned.
One media event will also be conducted within the project to increase the visibility of the project and the role of vocational education in the recovery of the region.
